I was reading an interesting letter written to the Dallas Morning News which directly addresses some basics on motorcycle safety.

As a fellow rider, you are a fool if you feel that you can do everything on a motorcycle you can do in a car. The letter is short and sweet but it correctly points out:

When you are a motorcycle rider, you have to be right. Four thousand pounds of car beats 500 pounds of motorcycle every time.
