I Traded in my SUV for a Motorcycle
If you could legally listen in on phone calls, that’s probably a line you would hear a lot these days. I was talking to an SUV dealer in the New York area who told me that he had 2 customers in the past 3 weeks trade in their SUV with plans to buy a motorcycle. One SUV owner told me, “40 miles to a gallon is better than 14.” If you’re driving an average of 300 miles per week, that’s a cost of $30 at $4.00 per gallon compared to $85 for the week at $4.00 per gallon.
